Why Use Wiper Blade Refills?

How to Replace Your Jenok Wiper Rubber Refills

Replacing the rubber insert is straightforward and does not require special tools.

  1. Step 1 — Locate the Refill Slot
  2. Gently pull the existing rubber back approximately 3 cm to expose the slot on the underside of the wiper blade.
  3. Step 2 — Remove the Worn Rubber
  4. Pull the old wiper rubber through the slot and slide it completely out of the blade.
  5. Step 3 — Insert the New Refill
  6. Feed the new wiper rubber refill through the same slot.
  7. Step 4 — Slide the Refill Into Position
  8. Continue sliding the refill along the full length of the wiper blade until it reaches the opposite end.
  9. Step 5 — Secure the Refill
  10. At the end where the refill was inserted, slide the rubber slightly past the access slot and then reposition it so it sits correctly within the blade.
  11. Check that the rubber is seated evenly along the entire length of the wiper before using it.

When Should You Replace Wiper Rubber?

It may be time to replace your wiper blade inserts if you notice:

  • streaks or smears remaining on the windscreen
  • areas of glass being missed, increased noise or squeaking, visible damage to the rubber edge
  • or reduced visibility during rain.

Replacing worn rubber before it deteriorates further helps maintain reliable contact between the wiper and windscreen.
